Skirt and Slouchy Sweater for Fall

Happy new week beautiful people! I'm starting it off with this skirt and sweater combo bringing in the warm and chic vibes with Dresslily. The combination of a skirt and sweater is so good to me because, the weather tends to change up so much throughout the day during Fall. It can be cold in the morning, to warm, to windy, and then back to cold. Throwing on a sweater over a t-shirt or blouse allows me to take off layers when it starts to warm up or vice versa. I also love how I can change up the look with a warm slouchy sweater.

Skirt: Dresslily //Sweater: Dresslily //Boots: Kaitly Pan// Beret: H&M
This is my second time collaborating with Dresslily and the ordering process has been great. I do have to say that you may have to wait up to 10 business days for your order in some cases since it's coming from China. So just order in advance if you need your outfit for a special occasion. The quality of these two pieces is good. The sweater is soft not itchy, and the faux leather fabric is soft, not stiff at all. I do love these two pieces I received from the online store and I would order again in the furture.

What do you think of this look? Would wear this combination? Let me know! Hope you are all having a great season :))

Much Love,

Fall Transitonal Maxi with Rosegal

Plus Size Plunge Slit Maxi Empire Waist Formal Dress - BLACK 3XLBackless Chiffon Thigh High Split Maxi Dress - RED SFloral Print Button Up Chiffon Maxi Dress with Split - RED S
Fall has arrived and it's looking pretty warm around my way. I'll still be in shorts, tanks, and maxi long dresses for a while. Rosegal has some magnificent style maxi dresses that would transition great into Fall. I really think they are great because they look good on all body types. They are also easy to dress up or down with different accessories.
Here's a few tips on how to still wear your favorite maxi dresses well into Fall.
Style Tip: Layer a moto jacket over your maxi dress to keep yourself warm when it starts getting chilly, but also add some cool streetstyle as well.
Style Tip 2: Wear some heel booties instead of sandals with your maxi to stay warm and stylish!
Halter Backless Maxi Flounce Plunge Dress - GREEN LSpaghetti Strap Pockets Long Casual Maxi Beach Dress - WHITE S
Dresses: Rosegal 1. Black //2. Floral // 3. Red Dress //4. Green //5.White
Definitely I go for solids but if you're more of a floral gal, a moto jacket does add an insteresting contrast to any kind of maxi dress.  Do you like maxi dresses? I’m a fan 😁 Wish you all an awesome Fall season, or Spring if you're in Australia!

Dresslily: Shoes Review

So yeah, this was my face when I first spotted these shoes on the Dresslily website. I was instantly  surprised and fell in love with them. I mean what is not to love about these red Mini Mouse/Barbie retro inspired cuties right? Here's my review on them!

Fit: About half a size larger than my shoe size. :(
Comfort: Comfortable, extra cushion, soft fabric lining inside the shoe.
Design: Well crafted shoe. Comes with rubber gripping at the bottom of shoe, so no fear of slipping in these.
Price: $29.56 /Ships for Free
Shipping: Within 10 business days

Shoes: Dresslily
My overall take on these shoes is that I do like the style and how well the shoe is made. Unfortunately because it is not the right fit I attempted to return the item and exchange, but instead they agreed to issue me a full refund without a return. Since this is a collaboration, I guess I just get to keep the item? Not sure, but at least you know that the store will issue a full refund if you are not satisfied. They responded to my request within an hour, so that is super fast via email for a refund! I was impressed with that. I am a little hesitant about ordering shoes through this store again because of this experience. I have some clothes on the way as well from this store, so let's see how that turns out. :))

With Love,

Style Tip: Pop of Red

Hi lovelies! This week I wanted to start off with a style tip for anyone looking to add some style to their wardrobe. I'm excited to share one of my go to style tips that I use all the time. I have shared this tip before, but this time I'm actually dedicating a whole post to just one tip.
Wether it be on my shoes, or other accessory, I go for pops of red to make a minimal black and white outfit more vibrant. This time I'm doing it with this red beret I picked up at H&M over the weekend. You can add so much style with just a simple red hat, purse, belt, or shoe!

It is simple to pull off, but just don't over do it to the point where the pop of color takes over. I like to keep it minimal, when I add a little more. For example I also added it to the lips. You can also see it pop a bit on the Converse stripe. I think this keeps the mix interesting! Hope you like my tip for the week. I'll try to keep my tips coming because it's just so fun to share them for me. I'll be vistiting your blogs, so leave a comment for me so I can see what you're up to!

Anthropologie: Blue Jumpsuit

Feeling powerful in Majorelle blue, aka royal blue, aka electric blue! What do you consider this color to be? It's my fave type of blue because I feel the most like myself in it. This jumpsuit was a no brainer when I saw it on the sales rack at Anthropologie a few weeks ago. I snatched it and couldn't wait to wear it. It's carefree, stylish, mod, and sort of reminds me of a samurai. Hey why not feel like a powerful samurai right? I love it!!!

Jumpsuit: Anthropologie
Hope you love it as much as I do and you enjoyed my little photo strip. I love finding the perfect places to make the clothes speak for themselves. If you love the jumpsuit it's on SALE, and linked above!! Have a great week friends.

White Dress love affair

I present to you one of the most romantic dresses I own, in one of the most beautiful places on the California Northern coast line. Big Sur is between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and has some of the most amazing views you will ever lay eyes on. My friend Liz got married here last month and I was her Maid of Honor!
I was so flattered and happy that she asked me to be part of her big day. She is one of my dearest friends that I met in college. Now she lives in San Diego, but we have never lost touch since we gratuated in 2008. She is earthy, loves the ocean as much as me or more. It made sense that she chose such a magical place to get married.
I was lucky that she let us (the two girls in the bridal party) wear white. Yes, dream come true! Our friend Cat was Liz's bridesmaid, and we both went on the hunt for white dresses as soon as Liz told us that was the chosen color for us to wear.

I found this romantic dress on ASOS online. I have become a big fan of this online store for the past year. They have the best sales ever with high quality fabrics & style to match. This dress was reduced down to $34! I just bought it as soon as I got it approved by Liz, you know since it was her wedding :)) The fit was perfect except for the length. I had to get that part altered. That's ok because it only cost me $20 to alter it. I was so happy with it!
The 15-20 minute hike to get to this spot where I shot the pictures was fun, and a bit dangerous. Cat and I hiked it down in our bridal gowns, and tennis shoes! We each fell on our asses and lived to tell the tale. We got to capture ourselves in this amazing place. I will forever love the memories made here. Check out the view from above of this beach on my Instagram!

Much Love,

Fitness fun with Sheer Leggings

Bra & Leggings Set
Since a kid I've always been into fitness, and I'm in need of pair of workout leggings ASAP! Which is why I'm on the hunt for some great sheer leggings styles on Dresslily. Currently I only own one pair of leggings, yikes! I usually workout in shorts because, well the weather in L.A. is super hot. With Fall and Winter around the corner, one more pair of workout leggings would be great. I love all of these so much, not quiet sure if I want a lot of sheer or just a bit. Check out the ones I have chosen as my faves.

Fun Fact
As a kid I loved sports and games, all kinds. I was a rough and tumble play kid because it was just fun, felt good, and made me happy. I would run around with the neighborhood kids, cousins, and friends engaging in all kinds of gross motor activities. I loved running, skating, skate boarding, jump roping, roller blading, playing tag, racing, biking, and swimming. Now as an adult I love hiking, body weight workouts, and lifting light weights. It's what gives me a bit of definition, yay!

Leggings: Black 2 Stripe Sheer Leggings//White Sheer Leggings
Black Ankle Sheer Leggings//Printed Capri Set

How do you feel about the sheer legging trend? It's just perfect for me! It adds style and motivates me on so many levels.  If I'm going to workout, why not do it in style? It truly does motivate me when I feel good in my clothes.
All the leggings I've linked here range from $10-$23. Now that is something to smile about! Most of the ones in stores are way above that price range. So these leggings are definitely a must buy.
Hope you are all doing fantastic, and please share what motivates you to work out in the comments. Fun activities and style do it for me!

Much Love,
